Kommerzielle Plattformen sind auf Industrie- und Inspektionsflüge zugeschnitten. OmniFlight ist auf den Einsatz ausgelegt: mehrere Drohnen mehrerer Organisationen in einem Projekt, eine geteilte Lagekarte, nachvollziehbare Dokumentation — und ein Server, der in der eigenen Infrastruktur steht. Commercial platforms are designed around industrial inspection flights. OmniFlight is designed around operations: several aircraft from several organisations in one project, a shared situational map, traceable documentation — and a server that stays on your own infrastructure.

Das Kamerabild der Drohne läuft in die Plattform und lässt sich gezielt weitergeben — an die Einsatzleitung, eine Leitstelle oder eine andere Organisation. Fotos und Videos landen automatisch im richtigen Projekt — mit Zeitstempel, GPS-Position und Kameradaten aus den EXIF-Feldern, gruppierbar, favorisierbar und als Kartenebene darstellbar. Jede Drohne mit Seriennummer, Status und Lebenslaufdaten; jeder Flug mit Datum, Dauer, Ort, Gerät und Pilot — die Grundlage für Nachweise und Nachbereitung. Drohnenkonten melden sich mit einem organisationsgebundenen Benutzernamen an (mavic3t@org-musterstadt). Die Flottenansicht zeigt Verbindung, Seriennummer, Flugzahlen und Gesamtflugzeit — und daneben die Nutzenden der Organisation. Aircraft accounts sign in with an organisation-scoped username (mavic3t@org-musterstadt). The fleet view shows connection, serial, flight counts and total airtime — next to the organisation's people.

Aufnahmen werden nach dem Flug automatisch in das Projekt übertragen. Beim Öffnen zeigt eine Seitenspalte die Metadaten und eine kleine Karte den Aufnahmeort. Gruppen wie „Fundstellen“ oder „Schäden“ sind geteilt, Favoriten bleiben persönlich. Captures upload into the project automatically after the flight. Opening one shows its metadata in a side panel and the capture location on a small map. Groups such as “findings” or “damage” are shared; favourites stay personal.
TechnikHow it works
OmniFlight setzt auf der offiziellen DJI Cloud API auf. Die Fernsteuerung (oder ein DJI Dock) ist das Gateway und verbindet sich per MQTT, HTTPS und WebSocket. Die luftfahrtrechtlich kritische Steuerungslogik bleibt damit bei DJI; OmniFlight verantwortet Lagebild, Daten und Zusammenarbeit. OmniFlight builds on the official DJI Cloud API. The remote controller (or a DJI Dock) acts as the gateway and connects over MQTT, HTTPS and WebSocket. Flight-critical control logic stays with DJI; OmniFlight owns the situational picture, the data and the collaboration.
Stand & AusblickStatus & roadmap
Karte, Telemetrie, Projekte, Flotte, Medien und Benutzerverwaltung sind im Einsatz erprobbar. Geplant sind unter anderem Luftraumdaten (ADS-B/FLARM) mit Warnung bei bemanntem Verkehr, Pegel- und Hochwasserdaten als Ebene sowie die zeitliche Wiedergabe eines Einsatzverlaufs für die Nachbereitung. Map, telemetry, projects, fleet, media and user management are ready to be exercised in the field. Planned next: airspace awareness (ADS-B/FLARM) with warnings on manned traffic nearby, gauge and flood data as a layer, and timeline playback of an operation for debriefing.
